Aidomo Emakhu: The Promising Substitute
Making a name for himself at Millwall, Aidomo Emakhu has showcased his talents in the 2023/2024 Championship season. So far, he has made six appearances, accumulating a total of 96 minutes of playing time. Interestingly, all of his appearances this season have come as a substitute, proving his ability to make an impact off the bench.
The last time Emakhu took to the field was on September 23, contributing eight minutes to a fiercely contested match against West Bromwich Albion, which ended in a 0-0 draw. Despite limited playing time, Emakhu has managed to make his mark. He has scored one goal and provided one assist in the Championship campaign, demonstrating his ability to both find the back of the net and create opportunities for his teammates.
Emakhu's goal came in the face of adversity, as Millwall suffered a 3-1 loss against Norwich City on August 20. Nevertheless, his excellent finish showcased his determination and skill. As the season progresses, Emakhu's contributions will be crucial in helping Millwall climb the standings. Currently positioned at 10th with 11 points, the team faces a home match against Swansea City on September 30.
In the previous season, Emakhu was handed one opportunity to showcase his talent in a Championship game for Millwall. This season, however, he has already surpassed that number and continues to make a significant impact.
